i do believe i shall blog more often.

I have to say, after watching the previews for Toy Story 3, the movie looks pretty epic. And luckily for me, it comes out on one of the two days in June that I'll be at home! Sweet! It's very intriguing, and hilarious as always.

I'm beginning to worry about my headphone situation. My current headphones (made by Sony) started to malfunction today. I was annoyed, and then suspicious. When I tested the headphones on my iPod nano and on the computer, they worked fine. So it may have to do with the time I slipped and dropped my iTouch on some concrete - it got two parallel cracks in the screen for that, but I hadn't noticed any other errors before now, and I can't really see the cracks anyways unless I look at the screen from an angle. (I think I have a habit of writing really longs sentences. Phew.) On the other hand, earphones and headphones have periodically been failing on me for a while now, so perhaps that's not it.

Anyways, I bought two albums and some songs, and I have 9 dollars left over in my iTunes account. Does anyone reading this have any suggestions for iPhone/iTouch travel apps that would help me this summer when I'm on my cruise in Europe?

Alice Alice Alice!

So yay, it's the weekend! This week went by kinda fast, but then so did Spring Break. Anyways, I saw Alice in Wonderland! I especially liked the Cheshire Cat... he was creepy, but cool.

Our garage is like, an abyss, but we're finally having a garage sale this weekend. (We planned to do so last summer.) I'm just sitting here, avoiding work by blogging and reading social media news on mashable.com.

Did I mention I'm now taking an actual art class? My friend introduced me to it, and I now go there every Wednesday after school with her. I hope it helps me sharpen my art skills. :)

Back to Alice in Wonderland. There's an album on iTunes from various artists that was inspired by the movie, called Almost Alice. Right now I'm debating on whether to buy the songs I know I like individually or to take a chance, save some money, and buy the whole album. Hmmm...

the colors of the evening stars
you can go wherever you wish
cause i'll be there
wherever you are"

blarrggh

mrs. persad really annoys me. out of all my teachers this year, she is the only one i really dislike (though i thought she was okay at first.) she gives out ridiculous science projects and she talks way too fast and she's like ugggh. one time she had us spend the entire period presenting our warm-ups, and then we had to go turn them in anyways. she could've just asked us to turn them in and let us do something USEFUL for a change. but nooo.

i just bought the entire owl city album ocean eyes. i hope i don't regret it. i just basically spent the very last of my itunes money (and yes, i use itunes. i'm scared that my parents will find out that i downloaded it from somewhere else and thing i pirated it or something like that. ;-; oh well.)

Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria (which, by the way, is on the 9 soundtrack) is really cool. I like it, although I must say that I actually just like the instrumentals. x) If you wanna see what I'm talking about, here you go.

this is the one time i'm allowed to stay up until like midnight, and i start getting tired-ish around eleven. ;P

oh yes, and now for a statement about the wonderful MLIA, if you haven't heard of it already..

My Life is Average.

Yes, it's true.

But sometimes, there are amazing, wonderful situations that happen to average people. MLIA is a site which shares the layout style of the more well-known FML, but the stories are entertaining and thoughtful. Here's an example;

"Today, I found out that my guidance counselor had me switched to harder classes. I was really upset until I went to AP global. when I got there, the teacher handed out 3D glasses to every student and began to write notes on the board in 3D chalk. I have a feeling I'm going to like this class. MLIA"

I swear, after reading FML for a while, this site gives me hope for the human race.

Balto - I Stand Alone

From Wikipedia:
Balto is a 1995 animated/live action film produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblimation animation studio, distributed by Universal Pictures, and originally released to movie theatres in 1995. Balto is based on a true story about the dog of the same name who helped save children from the diphtheria epidemic in the 1925 serum run to Nome.

This Youtube video is an AMV containing clips from this movie, and the music is a cappella by Van Canto. Not only is the song wonderful, but it totally fits the movie (or at least what is shown of the movie in the youtube video; I've never actually seen the movie.) Unfortunately, I can't find the song on iTunes .-.
