doodledoodledoodledoodleJUMP!

So today I went on some sites that I had not been on in a long time; DeviantArt, Valenth, and Aramii. I think I'm gonna try to get on those sites more often (especially deviantart, as I am planning to draw some nice stuff with my new Sketchbook Pro.) Also, I have become quite addicted to the iPhone/iTouch app Doodle Jump. It's very fun and I only have to pay some attention to it, which is why I'll play it while watching The Big Bang Theory, or something. ;P

the-blog-post-after-christmas

Well, I got the iTouch alright (of course.) I also got Sketchbook Pro, an art program I can use my tablet on, and a ticket to a 14-day European cruise. It was pretty sweet. I've also been reveling in the fact that I can check my email and read the latest webcomics without getting out of bed. (Wow, that sounds nerdy).

I've also done a full-time switch to Google Chrome, as the security stuff my mom installed was making Firefox too annoying. The bookmarks thing will take some getting used to, but I do like Google Chrome.

My family went to see Avatar in 3D a couple days ago, and it was pretty sweet. It was reminiscent of Princess Mononoke somewhat and Fern Gully especially, but I have to say it was great. It was a little sad when some of the characters died, but man, the imagery was amazing. I mean, some things didn't make much sense (floating mountains?) but the nature was beautiful. I definitely recommend it.

I'll post sometime later with something I've drawn with Sketchbook Pro. Cheers!

Anticipation

In anticipation of the 8gig iPod Touch that I am getting for Christmas, I have done some research of the available games and apps out there. So far, I have found 21 apps on my list, and if I just get the 'lite' versions of the games that have such things available, the total will only be 15 dollars, which is good, since I'm out of iTunes money and I dunno how much my parents will be giving me. If I got the full versions of the apps that I might just get the lite versions of (did that make sense), the total would come to 31 dollars, so I'll probably just get the lite versions of most of em' for now. But gosh, I'm so excited! Packages keep arriving and my mom says she's nearly done wrapping presents. And I am very excited about playing all the apps I've been reading about!

By the by, this is my 50th blog post of my blog of 4 months. Cheers!

yikes!

my brother and sister are both sick - my brother especially. combined they have 3 pages of prescriptions - so it shouldn’t be surprising that i began feeling shivery last night, and that feeling just continued on. i woke from the same annoying dream at least three times, but i finally had a solid block of sleep and woke up around 8, where i was feeling better - somewhat. Although i was much cheered up by a hot, long shower, i’ve been feeling tired all day and my forehead feels warm. also, my neck is kinda achey. i suppose i’ll have to hope that it gets better and not worse tomorrow.

on a different note, christmas is in 5 days! i’m rather excited, yes. and i think that should i be feeling better tomorrow, i will play some old computer games (Civilization II: Call to Power and Alpha Centauri come to mind)

iTouch?

The iPod Touch. Is it worth it? I've been kindof wanting it for the past few months, but now that I have an opportunity to actually ask for it and maybe even get it, I'm actually researching what it can do. I've always loved them in the Apple stores (heck, I love everything in the Apple stores) but do I want one? I already have a 4th gen 8GB Nano, which suits me fine - but the games & other apps on the iTouch are attractive, I must say. Should I ask for one? Should I bother to beg for the $300 32-gig one, or should I settle for the $200 8-gig one?

Actually, that last one is a stupid question. Never you mind.

Order Of The Stick (insert the word obsession here)

Wordle: Words of Gosh's Blog

This is a word cloud composed by www.wordle.net of all the most common words of this blog. Pretty cool, huh? I think there's a similar thing out there for Twitter, but I haven't bothered looking. Hm. Maybe I should make an Animoto video of this thing...

Anyways, so I should probably blog some about what's been happening in my life. If anything, I've become more obsessed with Order Of The Stick (that webcomic I was talking about a few posts ago), and I haven't really thought about 9 since.. well, when I discovered Order Of The Stick. xD However, I still very much love the 9 youtube parodies, the best ones being run by Smallsthehero. They have a lot of bad jokes & sexual innuendos, but my and my friends laugh our heads off at them. If you're interested, here's the link to the latest one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-lkcYU4zkY

Yeah.. Christmas (not to mention Winter Break) is coming, and I'm really quite excited, although I am a tiny bit worried that I didn't get the order links to my mom in time - it would be embarrassing if the stuff didn't get shipped in time. I'm also quite pleased that all my midterm exams so far have been easy. I'm a little worried about Texas History, but other than that, it's all good.

There are three songs I've been listening to over and over again. Most notably, Through The Fire And Flames by Dragonforce - probably because it reminds me of Order Of The Stick, and because I like stuff like that anyways. Oh, and it's pretty long (7 minutes or so) so it's not as repetitive. Anyways, moving on. When I first heard Lady Gaga's new song Bad Romance, I didn't like it. Guess what? Now I do, and it gets stuck in my head often. I've also become a little addicted to the song "Dum Dadi Doo" by Nightcore - a rather odd song which nonetheless has a good beat.

Ahh.. Well, there's more I'd like to say, but I have to compose a list of all the board games we have for my uncle, so...

well, I guess I've learned my lesson

see, i had two multimedia projects that i did at home and saved to a flash drive. good, right? it was good, since i was a bit behind in that class. that was on thursday. then on friday, i forgot to bring the flash drive. saturday, i took the flash drive back to the computer (it had been sitting in my room) in case i decided to get some work done. but i didn't. so..

from there, i probably either left it by the computer or went back and put it on my desk. the problem? it's not in either place.

;(

Woah!

From my trip to New York to my Thanksgiving vacation to my internet being dead, I haven't been able to blog at all Amazing. Actually, I've had about a week with internet, but that's beside the point. Right now my family (and I, unfortunately) are going t0 pick out a christmas tree. It's a family outing, but I find it rather boring, as all we do is walk around and pick a tree that looks just like every other tree and not get to sit down. Oh well. I'll have a chance to work on that science homework I need to do.

And speaking of homework... ugh, I hate projects which involve more than one other person! It becomes so hard to get together and work, and out of my group of 4 people (including me) only one might be able to come over, and I'm still not sure about that. Yuck.

Oh well. I guess I'll blog more later. Bai.
